The Taxateca's Garden is a small private botanical garden which contains an interesting plant collection of hundreds of species. It was founded on May 17th of 2013 and has an extension of 2.000 square meters.

Kalanchoe beharensis
Details: It is a shrub from Madagascar with large grayish succulent leaves, which gives it a very striking appearance. It is resistant to drought but not to temperatures below -2ºC.
Kalanchoe blossfeldiana
Details: Succulent plant, frost tender (until -2ºC), endemic from the central plateau of Madagascar. It is drought resistant but prefers to be watered all the year, however, the flowers only appear at the end of the coldest season.
Kalanchoe laciniata
Details: Succulent plant, frost tender (until -2ºC). It is drought resistant but prefers to be watered all the year, however, the flowers only appear at the end of the coldest season.It is native to tropical and subtropical dry Africa and Arabia.
Kalanchoe marmorata
Details: Succulent plant, frost tender (until -2ºC), that produces nicely coloured leaves and relatively big flowers. It is drought resistant but can be watered all the year, however the flowers only appear at the end of the coldest season.
Kalanchoe thyrsiflora
Details: An African succulent plant that forms rosettes of large, fleshy gray leaves. These rosettes grow for one or a few years, and in late summer, they produce an inflorescence up to 2 meters tall with inconspicuous grayish or yellowish flowers. It is very drought-resistant and can survive temperatures around -5°C for a few hours.
Kalanchoe sexangularis
Details: A succulent plant from South Africa that grows mainly during the colder season, which coincides with the rainy season in its natural environment. During the winter, it forms long inflorescences with yellow flowers. It is drought-resistant but dies at temperatures below -3°C.
Kigelia africana
Details: It is a tree of the sub-Saharan savannas that forms striking hanging inflorescences with large maroon flowers and large fruits that can exceed 10 kg. It withstands drought well and temperatures of around -3ºC for a few hours, but then loses its leaves and suffers damage on young stems.
Kleinia neriifolia
Details: It is a succulent plant from the same family as daisies, endemic to the Canary Islands. It grows during the cool, humid season and loses its leaves in summer. It is very resistant to drought but does not tolerate temperatures below -4ºC.
Kleinia picticaulis
Details: It is a succulent species of the daisy family from northeast Africa, which grows mainly in the coldest season, although it does not tolerate frost. In the warmest and driest season it usually loses its leaves.
