The Taxateca's Garden is a small private botanical garden which contains an interesting plant collection of hundreds of species. It was founded on May 17th of 2013 and has an extension of 2.000 square meters.

Talinum caffrum
Details: It is an African species that grows during the hot and humid season and is reduced to an underground tuber in the dry winter season. It does not withstand temperatures below 0ºC and needs to be dry during the winter. It belongs to the Talinaceae family, which contains few species.
Tamarindus indica
Category: Tree. Temperature: No frost resistant (until -2ºc). Water: Regularly. Details: Edible fruits.
Tephrocactus articulatus
Category: Succulent. Temperature: Light frost resistant (until -7ºc). Water: Drought resistant. Details: Slow growing cactus.
Tetradenia fruticosaa
Details: It is an aromatic plant endemic to the inselbergs of central Madagascar. It grows in the warmest and rainiest season and in the coldest and driest season it goes dormant, losing part of the leaves. It is resistant to lack of water but not to temperatures below 0 degrees.
Trachystemon orientalis
Details: It is a herbaceous plant native to southeastern Europe and Türkiye. It blooms in early spring, before the leaves appear.
Tradescantia fluminensis
Category: Creeping. Temperature: Light frost resistant (until -4ºc). Water: Regularly. Details: Fast growing plant. Interchange availability: Yes, cuttings.
Tradescantia pallida
Details: A nice purplish plant from Mexico resistant to drought and light frosts (-7ºC).
Tradescantia spathacea
Details: A semi-succulent plant native to Central America with striking leaves that are deep purple on the underside. It can withstand lack of water and temperatures down to about -3ºC.
