The Taxateca's Garden is a small private botanical garden which contains an interesting plant collection of hundreds of species. It was founded on May 17th of 2013 and has an extension of 2.000 square meters.

Galanthus nivalis
Details: It is a bulbous plant native to Europe that grows and blooms during mid to late winter. In mid-spring it dries out and goes dormant. It requires moist soils and tolerates strong frosts.
Galtonia viridiflora
Details: It is a bulbous plant native to South Africa and Lesotho, which grows during the warm season and remains in bulb form during the winter. Towards summer it forms greenish-white flowers. It resists well the lack of water and temperatures down to -10º.
Gasteria carinata
Details: Succulent plant endemic from the Western Cape, in South Africa, with leaves covered by whitish warts. It is frost tender (until -3ºC), grow mainly in spring and summer and flowers in spring.
Gladiolus murielae
Details: It is a gladiolus native to eastern Africa, which grows and blooms in the spring. During the winter, it is reduced to an underground tuber, capable of withstanding relatively strong frosts.
Gloriosa superba
Details: It is a climbing plant up to about 3 m high, which produces striking flowers that look like flames. In the coldest and driest season it is reduced to an underground rhizome, and can withstand frost.
Glottiphyllum linguiforme
Details: A small South African succulent plant that primarily grows in the cooler, wetter season.
Graptopetalum macdougallii
Details: It is a small succulent plant endemic to a small region of the state of Oaxaca, in Mexico. It grows mainly in the colder season and blooms in early spring. In summer it goes dormant and the leaves group together to protect the rosettes. Resists up to about -5 ºC
Graptopetalum paraguayense
Details: A succulent plant native to Mexico, which grows hanging in rocky areas. It forms rosettes of a striking gray color and resists drought and temperatures down to -12ºC very well. It grows all year round as long as it has water, but it grows mainly in the warm season.
Graptopetalum pentandrum
Details: It is a small succulent plant from Mexico, with nice grayish rosettes . It grows mainly in the warmer season and blooms in early spring. Resists up to about -2 ºC.
Gymnocalycium baldianum
Details: It is a small cactus from northwest Argentina, which grows and blooms mainly in the warm season. During the cold season it can withstand temperatures of up to -10ºC.
Gymnocalycium mihanovichii
Details: It is a small cactus that rarely exceeds 5 cm, native to Paraguay. It flowers in spring, at the beginning of the wet season and does not resist temperatures below -1 degrees.
